A light dessert made with semolina and milk.
- 1 liter milk
- ¾ cup semolina Rava
- ½ cup dry milk powder optional
- ½ cup sugar
- 3-4 almonds and cashews
In a pan, add milk and let it boil
Then add semolina while stirring simultaneously
Next, add milk powder and sugar while stirring continuously and let the mixture cook
Keep stirring the kheer so that it doesn’t form lumps. Stir for about 10 minutes
Serve hot or cool and garnish with fried cashews and almonds
You could replace the sugar and milk powder with sweetened condensed milk to make the mixture thick.
Milk powder is added to the kheer to make it more thick and rich.
